Bethel Hill graveyard and surrounding area in Olive Hill, Ky.
We did this investigation after hearing and reading so much about the reported activity at the Bethel Hill cemetary. This location is listed on shadowlands.net and strangeusa.com. We thought it would be a great chance to put some of the stories about this place to the test. Investigators present were Chad Mckenzie, Kirk Berry, Zack Kelly, Kevin Bush and Gerald Davis. The weather was nice, skies clear and low 50's for the temp. We setup our DVR system and had 4 IR cameras a various locations. We carried night shot video cameras and tried to capture the entire investigation on video. We split up teams and covered every inch of this place. While we didn't see any female aparitions we did have a couple of things happen that was awesome. After meeting up and discussing what we had found we were all walking back to base and kevin heard a tapping sound coming from our left. We did not have audio running at this time. A short time later Chad and Kirk experienced the tapping sound. It was coming from a headstone that had no flowers or decorations of any kind on it. The tapping continued until they were only 2 feet from the headstone. This was captured on audio as well as a direct response to a question that Kirk asked. This evp is listed below. This was also a moment when Chad saw a shodow that did not fit in with the surroundings. As Chad commented on the shadow there was an evp captured that said "hello". These were the only personal experiences that happened while we were there. We did capture one photo anomoly and one video anomoly that we are currently working on to authenticate. When we are finished we will post them. We captured 13 evp's during our investigation and couldn't have been more pleased. We were sceptical going in and were suprised with the amount of activity that we experienced. It was a great investigation and the whole team did an awesome job. With the evidence we got and the personal experiences we had we definately label Bethel Hill as haunted.
evp 1 This evp was captured at the same time Chad saw what appeared to be a shadow. Just before Chad starts speaking you will hear the word " hello ".
evp 2 This evp was captured while the Kirk and Kevin were talking. Listen after Kevin says the word or and you will hear a long gasp.
evp 3 This is a two part audio clip. At the beginning you will hear a tapping sound. This was heard by Chad and Kirk. You will hear Kirk ask if someone is trying to communicate with us and you will hear a loud voice. We think it is saying " just play ". Another cool thing about this evp is Chad and Kirk were both holding digital audio recorders and were standing shoulder to shoulder. This evp showed up on Chads recorder but did not on Kirks..
evp 4 This evp is one of the better ones we have ever gotten. It was captured while Zack, Gerald and Kevin were investigating at the side of the Bethel church. You will hear one of the investigators talking and when he stops you will hear " lord help me ".
